2012 Should be a interesting year. 12 is the number of Kingdom authority and government. I believe we are entering
an exciting new place in the Kingdom where the power and authority of God is going to be loosed on those who have been tested in the
fire.
Rom 8:18 ; (Amplified Bible)
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the
glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and [a]for us and [b]conferred on us!
Psalm 114 (Amplified Bible)
1 WHEN ISRAEL came forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange
language,
2 Judah became [God's] sanctuary (the Holy Place of His habitation), and Israel His
dominion.(A)
3 The [Red] Sea looked and fled; the Jordan [River] was turned back.(B)
4 The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.
5 What ails you, O [Red] Sea, that you flee? O Jordan, that you turn
back?
6 You mountains, that you skip like rams, and you little hills, like
lambs?
7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
I love this psalm!!! When the sea and the mountains saw God make his people his habitation they fled!!! And the earth was told to tremble. When the Spirit power and authority of God entered HIS people, the same Spirit that they were created by, they understood the magnitude of what happened…
I think it’s time to enter into those promises and presence of God. In the second chapter of Joel it talks about His last day army who walked in that place. Some characteristics that they had, and that we should have.
Joel 2
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand--
2 a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thickdarkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains. A great people and a strong, there hath not been ever the like; neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns. The landis as the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and a horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained; all faces shallgather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like menof war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks.
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path; and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be
wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city, they shall run upon the wall; they shall climb up upon the houses, they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10The earth shall quake before them, the heavens shall tremble; the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their
shining.
11 And the LORD shall utter His voice before His army, for His camp is very great. For He is strong that executeth His word; for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible, and who can abide it?
12"Therefore also now," saith the LORD, "turn you even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with
mourning."
13And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God; for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth of the evil.
If I had a trumpet I would blow it!!!! If you are not strong in the Lord and the Power of HIS might it’s time to get on your knees and get there!!!!
They were set in battle array PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD learn how to use your sword ( and not on your brethren in Church!!!!)
They walked in the things God gave them, they were in ranks with each other, they didn’t break ranks, and they didn’t trust one another!!!! It’s time to get past denominational junk find out who you are in God, know what He has called you to do and work with each other in real unity of the spirit….
Then the earth trembled before them like it did in psalms 114
The answer is in Joel verse 15 - 17
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast! Call a solemn assembly,
16 gather the people! Sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber and the bride out of her retreat.
17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar; anlet them say, "Spare Thy people, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them.Why should they say among the people, `Where is their God?'"
He wants to be magnified in us, lets be readythis year!!!
